Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is a nonprofit hospital. It contains about 746 beds.

The hospital is also an acute care teaching hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. It provides tertiary care services to its surrounding regions. It is also a flagship facility.

It is also a Level I Trauma Center that is verified by the American College of Surgeons.
